HUJAN II
“Tik, tik,
tik,”
‘The
sound?’, hoping that my guessing is true.
I pull away
my pillow from my face and wipe away my teary eyes. Yes, I cried just now. I stood up from my bed, and head to my window
pane. I look up to the sky. It is cloudy and the droplets start to fall little
by little. And suddenly it pours heavily.
“Alhamdulillah!
Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah!”, I dash to the door.
I stand in
the middle of the mahallah courtyard, where there is no roof and the rain pours
freely.
I open my
arms, I lift up my head and face the raining sky.
I let
myself be showered by His rahmah.
‘O Allah, my burden is nothing compared to Your
blessings.’
